ohio state university - campbell hall

Columbus, ohio
Campbell Hall on Ohio State University’s campus was first constructed in 1916 and is in need of an update. The new design embodies the values of OSU, excellence, justice, diversity, innovation, and internationalization. This project prioritizes the needs of the campus, faculty, and students and acknowledges the rich history of the OSU community, surrounding communities, and site. To strengthen the community, the process of the project is meticulously planned to engage and provide collaboration opportunities for members of the OSU and surrounding communities. This ensures that the design reflects the needs of the community.

The design includes flexible, collaborative, and lab spaces that welcome, encourage congregating, and foster creativity and innovation. To provide universal design, wayfinding and creating an accessible building are elements that we think about early on. Every space is leveraged as an opportunity to foster creativity, innovation, and collaboration.
