Senior Architect

Vershaé's academic and professional career have exposed her to a range of unique experiences throughout the United States, United Kingdom, China, Israel and Palestine that have carefully constructed her crafted, compassionate perspectives on the relationship between design and the human condition. She brings over a decade of experience from award-winning firms like The Freelon Group, Perkins+Will and Vines Architecture on noteworthy projects like the National Museum of African American History and Culture, Emily Krzyzewski Center, and the Henrietta Lacks Building for Johns Hopkins University. As a Senior Architect and Project Manager, she is well versed in leading teams through complex projects while achieving outstanding architectural design and execution.

Using these skills outside of the office, Vershaé is profoundly aware of her personal responsibility to her local community. As Vice President of the North Carolina Chapter of the National Organization of Minority Architects, Vershaé has been a driving force behind several initiatives that elevate diversity, equity and inclusion across the state. She is also Studio Professor at NC State University’s College of Design and serves as a member of the Public Art and Design Board for the City of Raleigh.
