WINDSOR CHAVIS COMMUNITY CENTER AT NOCHO PARK

The new Windsor Chavis community center will be an innovative model for housing multiple city departments—Libraries and Parks and Recreation—under one roof to offer essential resources and innovative programs to neighborhood residents and citizens of Greensboro. The community hub is designed as a multi-generational resource that addresses present and future needs by engaging with and listening to community input to directly inform the outcome. The community center sits in the middle of historic Nocho Park to help connect city residents with the natural environment and learning and recreation experiences centered around outdoor experiences.
